Moyen Poodle Puppies, week 4

Happy New Year! Our red moyen poodles are now 4 weeks old and the socialization period has just begun! Puppies hearing and sight is greatly improved. They have increased curiosity with low fear and high approach. We facilitate safe introductions to new areas of the house. We added whelping box novelty item exposure activities. If we only keep them in the same space for the first 8 weeks of their lives, we are doing a disservice to their development. We engage, stimulate and put your puppies into different (safe) environments. We will transition to a more solidified version of puppy mush soon. We also added crates (with doors open) to begin prep for crate training. Puppies each had another nail trim and their first face trim.
